Spirit treadmills have very strong motors for an extremely reasonable price. Other than the entry level Spirit treadmill, all Spirit treadmills have a 3.5 HP motor or higher, which is excellent.

Six separate data displays give you all your workout information at a glance. These windows display Time, Speed, incline, Distance, Calories burned and Heart rate.
The large 3 color dot matrix display show workout profiles for speed and elevation also with a quarter mile track. The on touch button allows you to choose the display you want or scan all 3 alternately. A 16 character message window prompts you through all the feature and programming of the console. During you workout the message window also displays workout information. The unique heart rate bar graph shows the percentage of your maximum heart rate. the 3 color graph light up form yellow to green to red indicating you lever of exercise exertion. The heart icon on the top of the graph blinking with each heart beat. Also features a built in book rack, fans, a beverage holder and a storage bin for CD players, cell phone or remote control.
