Octane Fitness redefined seated workouts with the invention of the one-of-a-kind xRide recumbent elliptical. Built based on the health club model, the premium xR6 has the ability to interact with your tablet via the SmartLink app and features SmartLight technology to keep you motivated throughout your workout.

Taking advantage of PowerStroke technology, xRide users have 343% more glute activity and burn 23% more calories than compared to recumbent bike riders, according to a university study. With its step-through design, it’s safe and easy to get on and off the elliptical machine. Plus, the xR6x is fully loaded with Octane features including MultiGrip handlebars, soft grip pedals and Workout Boosters.

PowerStroke Technology

The defining feature that sets the xRide recumbent elliptical apart from recumbent bikes is Octane’s 16" PowerStroke technology. PowerStroke allows for optimal leg extension and power drive, delivering more muscle engagement.

Due to its innovative design, xRide users demonstrate more activity in their glutes and have the potential for increased calorie burn during workouts.


Functional Comfort

The xR6 is designed to provide maximum comfort while also yielding an unmatched workout. To accomplish this, the cushioned seat is set at a 45-degree angle to help open the hip flexors and torso for more comfort and less stress on the lower back.

For optimum fit for any size user, the xR6 has 20 seat height positions and 5 seat tilt settings. These multiple height and tilt options also enable exercisers to utilize different leverage points for targeted muscular endurance conditioning.

Space Efficiency

Built on a solid, space-efficient platform, the xR6 is significantly shorter and narrower than other premium ellipticals or recumbent bikes, and it blends seamlessly into any room at home.

The platform doubles as a convenient step-through area, making it safe and easy for any user to get on and off the recumbent elliptical.

Patented Converging Path and MultiGrip handlebars better engage the upper body, for focused muscle engagement, and assist with custom-fitting every exerciser by allowing the upper body to move in the most natural, comfortable path.

Workout Boosters

Octane’s trademark Workout Boosters, including X-Mode, Leg Press and Chest Press, add cross training with various commands every few minutes to keep the heart pumping and muscles pushing.
